Some of us can't vote on these forums. Zzz. Trying to come up with a name that fits the scenario, feels good, and won't scare away recruits or make us look like idiots has proven difficult. As has been mentioned (I'm pretty sure it was mentioned by Franks in another thread here), we've got a level 5 (almost 6) guild being transferred over Monday night/Tuesday morning with someone. Between now and then we have to come up with a solid name and I've been racking my brain over this.

I liked Vision. I don't think it's bad from a aesthetic point of view, it won't look bad to people are looking for a raiding guild, and it is a little metaphorical in that a vision could also be a goal or ideal to be worked towards.

Just as a note: There's a reason I haven't suggested the name Chosen. It's more than just Chosen people. I feel that applies to the name Riven, as well.

Reclamation is a strong word and has a sense of "we're getting something back" to it, but what about later? The name really holds no meaning beyond the "rebuild" phase. People who join later would be like "reclaim wut" in my head. :s

I've gone through probably 20+ thesaurus pages at thesaurus.com in the past few days. It's hard.

Damn it, stupid large server where everyone and their mom has a lvl 1 guild. I found Zenith, taken, Eminence, taken D: which sucks I really really liked that one.

Ascendancy is a lvl 1 guild with one member

I started doing synonyms of Honor:

Renown?
Devotion?
Fealty?
Zeal?
Tenacity (lvl 11 and a lvl 1)
Verve?
Vigor?

Okay, well we only have a couple more days before the level almost6 bank gets transferred over.

I really like Revelation, so put my vote in for that, but we really need to be decided on a name sooner rather than later.
